Cease striving and know that I am God;

-Know that he is God. He will take care of it. He is God. Know it. He is capable. He is more then capable. He made everything that one must be capable for.

         They did not wait for His counsel,

-How quickly I forget His works. I do not wait for His counsel.  

Thus they exchanged their glory

         For the image of an ox that eats grass.

-They exchanged someting lasting for something that isn't even alive. How often I do that. Its the incomprehension of who God is and all that He is worth. He lives. Forever.  

Give thanks to the God of heaven,

         For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Starbucks Run

   

  

Last thursday night instead of our last evening class we went on the big yellow bus to Starbucks in Kerrville. It was exciting and some of us went through "the Tunnel". That was a little scary going in. But on the way back was fun. 

Internet

The internet has been hard to come by recently. First it didn't work for more then a week and now it works but my computer doesn't always allow me to get on the internet. Sometimes it works (like now) and sometimes it doesn't. I have no idea why. The library in town has internet but they don't allow anyone to get on Facebook...    :) 

Donating Blood

A bunch of us donated blood yesterday. It was fun.

I have now been here one full week! I haven't updated since I got here because the internet was not hooked up at first and we only have set areas and hours to use the internet. But I am finding it dificult to think of what to say so I'll close for now.

Almost There

I am almost there! Only about 40 miles to go. But I have to go to the bank and then Wal-Mart 1st.

In the last two days I have seen SEVEN dead deer on the roadside. Seven used-to-be Bambies. Six in one day! Two together! Laying right next to each other...
